28TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TRANSPORT THEORY

The 28th International Conference on Transport Theory (ICTT-28) will be held in Rome, Italy September 22 – 26, 2024. Technical presentations will begin on Monday, September 23, with registration available September 22.

The registration desk will be open from 8:30 am in the Notre Dame Rome building at Via Ostilia, 15, 00184 Roma RM, Italy (link).

Social Program

We have the following events currently planned.

  • Reception and Dinner at Sapenzia University on Monday evening including tours of Basilica San Pietro in Vincoli.
  • The Transport Cowboy’s Retirement Celebration Prof. Ganapol is finally retiring after 48 years from the University of Arizona. Join us to cheer on his ride into the sunset to begin this next chapter of his journey.

 

Important Dates

The deadline for abstract submissions to the abstract portal is June 15, 2024. Notification of acceptance will be announced by July 1, 2024.

Abstracts will be reviewed for clarity and relevancy by the Technical Program Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts will deliver a technical presentation.

The ICTT-28 conference has partnered with the Journal of Computational and Theoretical Transport  (JCTT) and the ANS journal Nuclear Science and Engineering  (NSE) to publish a special issue of papers derived from the conference.  Both journals are accepting papers from all the accepted abstracts for the conference.
